1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. When you open any page of the Site, the browser may save cookies and send them back on later visits, so the Site can remember settings or count visits. Cookies are not programs and cannot read other files on your device.

Cookies set by the site you are on are called first-party cookies; those set by other services a page uses are third-party cookies. They also differ in how long they last, as section 4 explains. Cookies help a site run smoothly, but none of them is needed to read the Site.

2. Types of Cookies the Site May Use

The Site keeps cookies to a minimum. It may use three types:

The Site sets no cookies for registration, accounts or payments, because it has none of these. Analytics data is only used in a form that reports totals, such as the number of readers of the strategy page, never the reading history of one person.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies may be set by services the Site uses, such as an analytics tool or the hosting provider's security service. These providers handle the data under their own policies. When you follow a button from the Site to a casino, that casino sets its own cookies under its own Cookie Policy, which the Site does not control. The Site does not use advertising cookies that follow you across other websites, and embedded content, where a page includes any, may set cookies from its own provider.

4. How Long Cookies Last

Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent cookies stay for a set period – from a few days to a few months for preferences and analytics – or until you delete them. Your browser shows the exact expiry date of each cookie it holds. A preference cookie on the Site lasts long enough to remember your choice between visits, while analytics cookies may last longer so that a returning visit is counted once.

5. Managing Cookies in the Browser

Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies. In Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari the options sit in the privacy or security section of the settings. You can block all cookies, block only third-party cookies or clear them at the end of each session. The same settings apply on a phone, including when you open the Site through a home-screen shortcut as described on the app page. Private or incognito windows delete cookies automatically when they close, and browser extensions can block specific types of cookie.

6. What Happens if You Disable Them

The Site stays readable with cookies switched off. Some conveniences may stop working – a remembered preference, for example – and the Site learns less about which pages readers find useful. Casino sites reached through the Site's buttons may not work properly without cookies, because they rely on them for logins and security. Disabling cookies on the Site has no effect on the game itself: Tower Rush runs on the casino's site, under that casino's settings.

7. Changes

This Cookie Policy may be updated when the Site starts or stops using a type of cookie, or when the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows the current version, and the policy in force applies from the moment it is published. If a change affects what the Site stores in your browser, the cookie notice is shown again so that you can make a fresh choice.
